By buying your system out of State, you avoid sales tax.

You're still responsible for tax, and since the state has a copy of your receipt, they will know that you did not pay tax at the time of your purchase, which could land you in hot water if you do not pay it at tax time.

An out of State home based dealer has lower overhead, thus lower prices.

A home based dealer will sell product at a much lower volume than a conventional dealer, thus he will pay more and charge you more for the same product. If the home based dealer is out of state, you will pay much higher shipping costs as well.

An out of State home based dealer can offer you service and security that's no different than a conventional dealer.

You never know who you're dealing with when you buy from a home based out of state dealer, especially if that dealer doesn't post a legitimate physical address on his website. Where do you go if the product that you just bought doesn't work ? How do you track a dealer down if you don't receive your order, when all you have is a PO Box ?

You are protected because you can always track down a fraudulent dealer through his State's Attorney Generals Office.

Some dealers don't even operate from the address that they have posted on their website. In fact some dealers aren't even in the same State that they have posted.
