Some of the masks have a slight opacity surrounding the lenses. this is caused by slight cosmetic opacity of the middle layer of the safety glass used in the lens. It is visible when tilting the mask so that you catch the light at a certain angle at a distance and cannot be seen while the mask is worn, so it does not obscure the users vision.

It's difficult to notice but some of the masks have a tiny bit of oxidation on the rubber strap retaining clips. Again this only cosmetic.

Whether the mask is perfect or has cosmetic defects, all of the masks were treated at the factory with a rubber preservative. This can be left on the rubber surfaces of the masks to offer continued protection of the rubber surfaces, or can be simply wiped off with a clean dry towel.
