Price per watt, what does that mean ?
Price per watt is a quick measure of how good of a deal your getting when buying
a solar panel. For example if a dealer is selling an 80 watt panel for $350.00,
simply take the price of the panel and divide the price by the number of watts.
So in this case $350.00 divided by 80 watt equals $4.37 per watt, an ok price, but nothing spectacular. Obviously the
lower the price per watt price the better the deal.
Ah but be careful ! A good price per watt is only part of the deal. The other part is shipping costs. Beware of dealers
that charge a good price per watt but then turns around and gouges you on
the shipping costs.At
Solar Home, not only will you get the best price per watt price
because of our price guaranty, but you'll never get gouged on shipping costs
because Solar Home only charges actual shipping costs, we never pad our shipping
with unnecessary fees.
